On the 14th of September 2021 the Dutch government lifted the requirement for indoor events to maintain a 1.5m space between participants. This means that the REC Market Meeting 2021 will go ahead as a full in-person conference as planned.
The Government also announced that event organizers and venues will be obliged to do “Corona-checks” of participants. This will likely mean that REC Market Meeting delegates will have to provide proof of vaccination, recovery, or a valid and current negative test. The exact details of these "Corona-checks" will depend on the rules and regulations at the time of the conference but we will apply them in a responsible and practical manner.
We advise all delegates to be prepared for such checks, and ask them to show patience with the inconvenience they may cause. Our highest priority is the health and safety of all delegates and event staff. We appreciate your understanding.
We keep a close eye on the developments surrounding COVID-19. Our policy and procedures are therefore continuously adapted based on the latest advice from the WHO and Dutch government and health authorities. Please check the current travel advice and regulations from the Dutch government. If you have any concerns about your travel plans, please do not hesitate to contact us.
