On 12 March we offer two workshops which will be held prior to the main event.
Introduction to Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) standards
This workshop, which will introduce you to the internationally recognised EAC standards, will help you build your knowledge of the terminology, rules and regulations related to these standards. In this session we will review the European Guarantee of Origin (GO) system and the European Energy Certificate System (EECS) Standard, the US REC system and the International REC Standard (I-REC Standard) as well as various national developments.
As in previous years we will organise a legal workshop which is intended for energy traders, in-house counsel, corporate environmental compliance experts, corporate energy procurement experts, renewable energy producers interested in corporate PPA support and funding bodies. An introduction to the relevant tracking systems, national legal frameworks, and purchase and trade agreements will be provided to enable participants with limited knowledge of this sector to participate.
For an overview of the speakers at the pre-conference workshops, go to http://www.recmarket.eu/programme. The fee for these workshops is €325 and a maximum of 30 people may register for each workshop.
